Diese Datenschutzerklärung erklärt, welche Informationen NinjaAssurance verwendet, warum sie verwendet werden, welche Dienstanbieter beim Betrieb der App helfen können und welche Grenzen SMS-basierte Sicherheits-Check-ins haben. Um Erinnerungen auszuführen, Einstellungen zu verwalten, SMS-Warnungen zuzustellen, Käufe zu verifizieren, Missbrauch zu verhindern, Zuverlässigkeit zu verbessern, App-Leistung zu messen und Supportanfragen zu beantworten.
NinjaAssurance ist kein Notfalldienst. SMS-Zustellung hängt von mobilen Drittanbieternetzen, Anbietereinstellungen, Länder-/Betreiberunterstützung, Geräteeinstellungen und rechtmäßiger Nutzung ab.
NinjaAssurance kann Kontodaten, Kaufdaten, ausgewählte Check-in-Einstellungen, Telefonnummern vertrauenswürdiger Kontakte, Supportnachrichten und technische Daten verwenden, die für Erinnerungen und SMS-Warnungen nötig sind.
Informationen werden genutzt, um die App zu betreiben, Erinnerungen zu planen, SMS-Eskalationen zu versuchen, Kaufzugang zu erhalten, Missbrauch zu verhindern, Zuverlässigkeit zu verbessern und Supportanfragen zu beantworten.
Nutzer sind für korrekte Kontaktdaten und die Erlaubnis vertrauenswürdiger Kontakte verantwortlich, bevor SMS-Warnungen aktiviert werden. SMS-Zustellung hängt von Drittanbieternetzen ab und kann verzögert oder nicht verfügbar sein.
NinjaAssurance kann Twilio, Google Firebase, Google Analytics / Google-Dienste, App-Stores/Zahlungsanbieter sowie Hosting-/Sicherheitsanbieter für Betrieb, Schutz, Analyse, Verbesserung und Support verwenden. NinjaAssurance verkauft oder vermietet keine personenbezogenen Daten.
Angemessene technische und organisatorische Maßnahmen schützen Informationen. Daten werden nur so lange gespeichert, wie es für Dienst, Recht, Streitbeilegung und Missbrauchsschutz nötig ist.
Nutzer können Einstellungen ändern, Kontakte entfernen, die App nicht weiter nutzen und den Support zu Datenschutzfragen kontaktieren.
NinjaAssurance ist kein Notfalldienst, Medizinprodukt oder garantiertes Lebenssicherheitssystem. Es sollte nicht der einzige Weg sein, in einer dringenden Situation Hilfe zu suchen.

Introduction NinjaAssurance (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, use, share, and retain when you use our mobile application and related website or support channels (“the App” or “Service”). NinjaAssurance is not an emergency service, medical device, rescue service, or guaranteed safety system. 2. Information We May Collect • Account information: name, email address, phone number, login/account identifiers, language, purchase/access status, and account settings. • Trusted contact information: phone numbers and related settings for contacts you choose to add. • Check-in and reminder settings: scheduled times, reminder intervals, escalation settings, app language, and related preferences. • Usage and diagnostics: app events, crash logs, performance data, error information, device type, operating system, app version, and technical identifiers needed to operate and improve the App. • SMS and delivery data: message attempts, destination country/region, delivery/error status, provider logs, timestamps, and related technical information. • Support information: messages you send to support@ninjaassurance.com and information needed to answer requests. • Payment/store information: purchase or entitlement status from the relevant app store or payment provider. We do not collect full card numbers through the App. 3. How We Use Information We use information to: • provide, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the App; • schedule reminders and attempt alerts or SMS escalations; • manage account access, purchases, trials, fair-use limits, and abuse prevention; • measure app reliability, performance, and feature usage; • respond to support, privacy, and legal requests; • comply with law, enforce terms, resolve disputes, and protect users, contacts, providers, and NinjaAssurance. 4. Trusted Contacts and SMS Users are responsible for obtaining permission from trusted contacts before entering their phone numbers and enabling SMS alerts. Trusted-contact information is used to provide safety notifications and operate the Service. NinjaAssurance does not use trusted-contact phone numbers for marketing by NinjaAssurance. SMS delivery depends on country, carrier, recipient device, provider settings, lawful use, and third-party networks and may be delayed, blocked, unavailable, or fail. 5. Service Providers and Sharing We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate, protect, analyze, improve, support, and deliver the Service. Examples may include: • Google Firebase for app infrastructure, authentication-related support, cloud functions, diagnostics, crash reporting, or related app services; • Google Analytics / Google services for analytics, performance measurement, diagnostics, and app improvement; • Twilio or other SMS/messaging providers for SMS sending, delivery, fraud prevention, logging, and compliance; • app stores and payment providers for purchases, refunds, taxes, fraud prevention, and entitlement checks; • hosting, cloud, security, logging, and support providers; • law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other parties where required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, security, users, contacts, providers, or NinjaAssurance. These providers may process information under their own terms and privacy policies. We use providers for service operation and reliability; this does not mean NinjaAssurance sells personal information. 6. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking The App may use analytics, diagnostics, or third-party advertising services. Tracking, personalized advertising, and measurement may depend on operating-system consent settings, app settings, provider settings, and applicable law. Users should avoid sending sensitive or unnecessary personal information through support messages, analytics fields, or other free-text fields. 7. Data Security We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no internet, mobile, cloud, analytics, or SMS system can be guaranteed 100% secure. Users are responsible for protecting their devices, accounts, passwords, phone numbers, and trusted-contact choices. 8. Data Retention We retain personal data only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce terms, prevent abuse, maintain security, support purchases, answer support requests, and keep operational records. SMS, security, provider, diagnostic, and abuse-prevention logs may be kept where needed for operational, legal, billing, compliance, fraud-prevention, or dispute reasons. 9. Account Deletion and Contact Requests You may request deletion or correction by contacting support@ninjaassurance.com. Trusted contacts may also contact support to request reasonable blocking, suppression, access, correction, or deletion where technically and legally possible. Some data may be retained where required or permitted for legal, security, billing, dispute, abuse-prevention, backup, or technical reasons. 10. International Processing and Transfers Information may be processed in Estonia, the European Union, and other countries where our providers, cloud infrastructure, analytics, app stores, support tools, or SMS providers operate. We use service providers and safeguards where appropriate, but international processing may still be necessary to provide the Service. 11. Your Rights Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, port, or withdraw consent for certain personal data processing. To exercise rights, contact support@ninjaassurance.com. We may need to verify your request and may refuse or limit requests where permitted or required by law. 12. Children’s Privacy The App is not intended for children under 16 or for anyone below the minimum legal age required to use the App in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. 13. Changes to This Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows when the latest changes took effect. Significant changes may be notified in-app, on the website, and/or by email where appropriate.
