What is NinjaAssurance?
NinjaAssurance is an Android safety check-in app that lets people schedule check-ins, confirm that they are okay and select trusted contacts who can receive an SMS if a check-in remains unanswered after reminders, where delivery is supported.
A missed-check-in alert, not continuous monitoring
With NinjaAssurance, you choose when you expect to check in. The app reminds you to confirm. If you do not respond, it can send an SMS to contacts you selected, depending on settings, plan, technical conditions and supported delivery. Those contacts do not need NinjaAssurance installed. The app does not call emergency services and a missed confirmation does not itself mean something has happened.
How NinjaAssurance works
- Set a schedule. Choose check-in times that fit a normal day or selected days of the week.
- Choose trusted contacts. Ask contacts for permission and agree on a response plan before adding their phone numbers.
- Respond to reminders. When it is time, confirm the scheduled check-in through the app's reminder and confirmation flow.
- Plan for an unanswered check-in. If the configured reminders go unanswered, nominated contacts can receive a normal SMS where delivery is supported.
- Your contacts decide what to do. They may call, message, visit or seek help based on the circumstances and the plan you agreed in advance.
Read the missed-check-in explanation for more information about the alert sequence.
Who might find it useful?
The same check-in approach can be useful in several settings. It works best when the person using it and their contacts agree on a realistic schedule and response plan.
- Adults living alone: a regular way to signal that an ordinary day is going as expected.
- Families and older relatives: a scheduled confirmation that supports independence, without a need for constant calls.
- Pet owners and caregivers: a prompt for a trusted person to check on dependants if a planned response is missed.
- Solo travel or outings: a check-in linked to an expected return, subject to network and device availability.
- Night-shift and isolated workers: a personal arrival-home routine, not a substitute for any required employer lone-worker system.

Important limitations
NinjaAssurance is not an emergency-response company, fall detector, medical monitoring system, rescue beacon, live GPS tracker or guaranteed monitoring service. It does not directly dispatch emergency services.
Notifications and SMS can be delayed or fail because of phone permissions, battery restrictions, internet or mobile connectivity, carrier filtering, international routing, third-party service availability and other technical conditions. Supported SMS destinations may change; this page intentionally does not publish a fixed country list.
A missed check-in is a request for human follow-up, not proof of danger. When there is immediate danger, use local emergency services directly rather than waiting for a check-in alert.

Practical questions before installing
Do my trusted contacts need the app?
No. They can receive an SMS where supported. They should know the alert might mean a missed reminder rather than a confirmed emergency.
Does NinjaAssurance share my location all day?
Its core check-in approach does not require continuous location tracking. For current permissions and data-handling details, see the Privacy Policy.
Does it work internationally?
SMS availability and delivery vary by country, carrier and provider. Check current availability and test the actual receiving number; no list of countries here should be interpreted as a guarantee.
Is it available for iPhone?
This page links only to the verified Google Play listing for Android. Do not assume an iOS version is available without checking an official app-store listing.
Does it have a subscription?
The website describes Basic and Premium as one-time purchases, with plan eligibility and other conditions controlled by the current Google Play listing and Terms & Conditions. Check those sources for the latest details before purchase.
